The University of Portsmouth is about to embark on a major redevelopment of their campus. Their new Estates Masterplan has set out a clear aspiration for the long-term development of the campus over the next ten years that aligns with the University’s vision and strategy. This redevelopment is needed to accommodate new learning methods, facilitate increased research activities, attract staff and students, and respond to new ways of working. Ensuring that they engage and consult with the local community is essential to this.
As such, they will be hosting a public consultation event on Tuesday the 20th of February between 4.00pm – 7.00pm. This will take place in the lobby of the Eldon Building (Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth PO1 2DJ). During this event, they would welcome you and the wider Friends of Old Portsmouth Association views on their proposed designs and provide you with an opportunity to ask questions of those who are responsible for making and implementing these plans.
The development of the built environment represents a major investment by the University to support their commitment to enhancing the local community. Your input is invaluable in helping them create a vibrant and inclusive campus for all.
