The Hotwalls Studios Summer Party will be a celebration of the Studios’ and their development to date for artists, residents and visitors to enjoy. There will be a line up of acoustic music and spoken word poetry between 3:30pm and 8:30pm, alongside this; all thirteen of our artist studios will be open. To celebrate, the Round Tower will be open and hosting workshops with local company Sea Dog Print Studio and Hotwalls Studios’ artist Donna Poingdestre will be carrying out a live paint on the Parade Ground. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase during the event, which we will draw at 6:30pm. The prizes are decorated and upcycled barrels created by artists across the city in a sustainable project that has been carried out through June. The Canteen will be open as usual providing good food and drink, along with pop-up drink offer Dolci Fizz who will be selling on the Parade Ground.
PCC have authorised vehicle access as follows:
- Between 2:30pm and 3:15pm participants will be allowed onsite to set up for the event. They will then be required to move their vehicles to pay and display parking elsewhere.
- Between 8:30pm and 9:15pm the participants will then have vehicle access to the Parade Ground to load their vehicles before departing.
Portsmouth City Council staff will be on hand to marshal all vehicle movements.
