UPDATE: The Applicant has withdrawn the Application.

With well over 70 comments on the PCC portal this Application proved to be controversial and was withdrawn on the last day of consultation.

I am writing to advise you that I have received a new application from the proprietor of the above premises for permission to provide amenities on the highway in Highbury Street and on the road within the adjacent parking spaces outside the said premises.

The amenities consist of Tables and chairs and are to be placed on the highway from 12:00 until 21:00 Monday to Saturday and 12:00 until 18:00 Sunday.  I have attached plans and photographs of the proposed sites for your information.

May I have any comments you may wish to make on this application by written reply containing the reasons for your objections or recommendations.  If I do not hear from you by 20 July 2020 I will assume you have no adverse comments to make and I will issue the licence.

Thank you.
