And vote for the projects you think are best to reduce anti-social behaviour, provide activities and facilities for young people and engage the community.
SEA THROUGH POMPEY
Sat, December 3, 2022, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Portsmouth Cathedral
This voting event will allow the community of Old Portsmouth to decide how part of a public budget will be spent. There are 11 projects, all vying for a portion of £15,000.
At this event, you will see a presentation from each project, and you will be given the chance to vote for your preferred projects.
PB voting events are fun and exciting and you will no doubt hear of projects that you do not know about, but may wish to get involved with.
Following on from a World Cafe event (collective community conversation) that took place last year regarding community Safety in Old Portsmouth, Camber Dock and the Hot Walls area, the following themes were identified:
Reducing anti-social behaviour
Activities and facilities for young people
Community engagement
Local groups, individuals, and organisations were then invited to apply for up to £2,500 for projects. The projects are all designed to help the community and young people in the area – so why not come along and use your democratic right to vote for the projects that you think will help your community.
We look forward to seeing you there!
